Monday - Friday,  9 am - 12:00 pm

 

All children must complete an intake with the supervisor to stay at Peace Place without a parent. Reservations are required to ensure adequate staff. Parents can choose two days a week on which their child will attend. With our wonderful volunteers, we generally have a 2:1 child to adult ratio.

 

You will sign your child in, do a brief health check for your child, fill out any needed forms and then you can go do whatever you need! Our families report having enough time to buy groceries, get coffee with a friend, take a little nap, go to an appointment, or just sit and BREATHE!

 

Generally, we visit our outdoor courtyard early in the session and then have a calming play time followed by a snack. We spend time in the sensory room and explore. We read books, play with puppets and create fun crafts.

 

We have all sorts of fun toys and equipment for a variety of ages and stages. If there are any tasks you would like us to focus on with your child (i.e. signs you are incorporating into your daily routine, or holding a marker and writing with it, etc), we would be happy to try to work those things into our play time! We just love to have FUN!!!
